Theoretic Think Tank is an "Open Think Tank", meaning anyone from the public can collaborate on innovative ideas here. Subjects include technology, economics, and politics, as well as others. All results and discussions are completely open and free for the public to view, use, and re-publish.
Participate in Theoretic. Browse through the current projects and get involved with any that interest you. You can also help create new projects. If you have an area of interest (such as healthcare reform, computer hardware designs, or environmental philosophy, for example), please use Theoretic to develop them co-operatively with other members of the public.
Active Projects
- Emoticon Skins (Computer Technology)
- Standardizing the use of emoticons as custom packages that can be created, distributed, and installed by end users just like "skins" or "themes" in any compliant client.
- GiftNet (Intellectual Property)
- A marketing model using a network of agents who solicit financial support for copyrighted works that have been freed to the public.
- Ransom (Intellectual Property)
- A publishing model where copyrighted works (such as books, software, or music) remain proprietary until a total amount of money is collected or a certain date arrives, at which point the work is automatically freed to the public.

- A special on-going effort to collaboratively improve the usability and interface of Theoretic itself.
- Theoretic General (Meta)
- A special on-going effort to collaboratively improve the security, performance, and other features of Theoretic itself.
